Jennifer Miller

Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician

Jennifer Miller

Jen grew up in the hills of Colorado, is partial to the intermountain snowpack and took her first WFR course when she was 18. After 12 years in the outdoor industry as a mountain guide, ski patroller and educator she can no longer eat oatmeal or bagels. Jen hopes to instill in her students the capacity to make thoughtful decisions in difficult situations. She especially enjoys teaching altitude illness-related topics. In her spare time Jen works on an ambulance in the very urban Denver area and is (slowly) learning how to remodel a house. Jen is currently the Safety & Program Manager for Outward Bound and has a BA in International Relations and Hispanic Studies from Lewis & Clark College.
