On a mountaineering expedition, you’ll learn to travel in high-altitude terrain. You’ll develop skills like rope handling, traveling over mixed terrain, building anchors, and possibly even practice rescue skills. Depending on your course, you may encounter a mix of rock, snow, and ice, which might mean you spend time learning about technical rock climbing, snow camping, or extended glacier travel. No matter what, you’ll find a variety of challenges in every environment to push you and challenge you.
