Join NOLS Alumni on this unprecedented sea kayak adventure in southern Croatia! Work hard paddling and exploring the islands and coastlines by day and enjoy the comforts of guesthouse living in the evenings.
This trip is set among the Elaphiti Island Archipelago just north of Dubrovnik, Croatia. Traveling the coastline by sea kayak offers a beautiful lens through which to explore the culturally and historically rich region of southern Croatia.
This archipelago is comprised of many islands, each with its own historical significance, beauty and charm. Along with a tour through time, you will have opportunities to indulge in traditional Adriatic culinary specialties prepared by our island hosts.
As you paddle your way throughout the archipelago, you will further develop your ocean awareness, technical paddling skills and sea kayak touring expedition strategies as well.
Top it all off by paddling below the towering 'City Walls' of Old Town Dubrovnik high above the cliffs as you paddle into the heart of the Old Town on the last day!
Stunning limestone cliffs, underwater ‘green caves’ and a lush island chain makes this area perfect for exploration and paddling in style. Come see what the Dalmatian Coast and the Elaphiti Archipelago have to offer!
*Nightly guesthouses mean light gear, but paddling on windy days and carrying boats takes effort.
