Sara’s NOLS Absaroka backpacking trip was her gateway into outdoor adventures and her foundation for a lifetime of leave-no-trace backcountry travel. Living in the Pacific Northwest, she has since explored backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail, mountaineering in the Cascades and Rockies, and paddling/sailing in the Salish Sea. Sara joined Advancement in 2022 and is super excited to be a part of the team. In her spare time, Sara is a visual artist inspired by the colors, patterns, and forms in nature.
