After 20 years in the outdoors teaching and guiding I saw a new opportunity of work (challenge) teaching WFA courses. I attended the WFA Instructor Training Course in Lander, WY in November 2013. Since then I have continued to deepen my knowledge of the WFA curriculum and have become better at incorporating different teaching styles into my classes. NOLS Wilderness Medicine has a strong presence in Scandinavia, mostly in Sweden where NOLS Wilderness Medicine runs a large number of WFA courses during the year. Besides teaching for NOLS Wilderness Medicine, I run an adventure travel company and also guide and teach for other companies and NOLS Scandinavia.
