Instructor Rich Brame came to NOLS as a Fall Semester in the Rockies student and first worked as a NOLS instructor at Wind Cave National Park in 1984. Since then, he's worked NOLS adventures in twelve countries— with a few more on the way. Rich has done some front country NOLS shenanigans too. He's headed up NOLS' public policy, research, LNT (co-author of NOLS' Soft Paths 4th edition), Yukon programs and, until recently, the Alumni Relations Department.
