Matt hails from the Seattle area and calls the PNW home. His "formal" education in the outdoors started on a NOLS course. Since that wonderful experience, he has worked around the world. He enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and the pursuit of the perfect cinnamon roll. You can find him ski patrolling, teaching sailing, leading backpacking trips, traveling internationally or reading in a local coffee shop near you.
