Jorn Haack

Jorn took his instructor course in New Zealand in 2009 and has worked in the backpacking and mountaineering programs at numerous locations around the school. From 2011 onwards, he has been a part of the New Zealand in-team as a program supervisor, operations manager, and assistant director. In a previous career, Jorn was an officer in the army and outdoor instructor/ expedition leader for New Zealand-based organizations. He holds a BA in History from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand, and an MA in Strategic Studies from Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand. He lives with his wife Lynette, their dog Tui, their cat Gizmo, and their six chickens in the Maitai Valley in Nelson.
