Jake is a solid clinician with a "Get it done no matter what!" approach to both medical care and rescue. He credits NOLS Wilderness Medicine for the fundamentals of the Patient Assessment System that he relies on daily for both teaching and patient care. Residing near Moab, UT he can sometimes be found in one of the many canyons in the area or at home with his wife and 2 kids.
