Isaiah first came to NOLS as a two-time summer expedition student. While earning his degree from Chico State, he spent a year living in Florence, Italy. After graduating, he returned to Europe to teach English in northern Spain. Isaiah is now a member of the Advancement team and works out of his hometown of Chico, California. Living in the North Valley lets him take day trips to the rugged coast for bouldering or to nearby mountains like Lassen for hiking. While he enjoyed surfing in Basque Country, you likely won't find him testing the colder Pacific waters unless he's visiting friends and family in San Diego.
