Dan spent much of his childhood exploring the waterways and forests of the Great Lakes Region and here he developed a passion for teaching and adventure! Dan has seen the world of education through a variety of different lenses including as a gap year educator, wilderness therapy instructor, substitute teacher, camp counselor, and outdoor educator. For fun, Dan enjoys whitewater canoeing, building camper trailers, and geeking out over maps.
