Originally from Brevard, NC he now lives in Colorado with his wife; has served in EMS since 2007; public service, outdoor education and leadership since 1999; technical mountain rescue since 2011. Bryan raft guides on the Rio Grande in Summer and is an Apprentice Guide in the AMGA. In addition to WMI, he currently teaches for the American Canoe Association, the American Red Cross, and the Colorado Avalanche Information Center Know Before You Go program while enjoying travel and year-round outdoor activities.
