Native to the seven hills of Cincinnati, Annie made her way Westward and has never looked back. When asked “mountains or water?” Annie always chose mountains. Until she moved to coastal Washington, that is. A passionate skier, mountaineer, and distance hiker, Annie recently learned to surf, and decided the ocean wasn’t as scary as she thought. On a professional level, Annie splits her year working as an instructor for both NOLS Wilderness Medicine and NOLS Expeditions, a Wilderness Ranger in North Cascades National Park, and as an EMT on an ambulance in Olympia, WA.
