The course is designed for both beginners and those with some experience in sea kayaking and camping. You will start with the basics of sea kayaking, such as learning how to paddle and basic safety techniques. Then progress to more advanced skills, including rescuing techniques, navigating with charts and ocean currents, and assessing marine hazards.

In addition to learning sea kayaking skills, you will also focus on developing your leadership abilities. You will practice effective communication and planning while determining the day's paddling route, and learn how to manage group dynamics while navigating to the next campsite. You will also have the opportunity to take on different roles within the group, allowing you to develop your teamwork and collaboration skills.

Throughout the course, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. You will camp in forested coves, catch wild salmon for dinner, and fall asleep to the sound of waves against the shore. This hands-on experience in the wilderness will provide a unique opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth.

By the end of the course, you will not only have acquired the skills necessary for safe and confident travel in an ocean environment, but will also have gained valuable insight into your own leadership style. You will return home feeling inspired and ready to lead your next adventurous endeavor.
