NOLS Listed #1 Climbing School by Mademan.com

But beware, this web-site is steeped in testosterone, which means that certain portions of the site are not entirely rated G (or even rated R). So, you might be offended – the articles are irreverent and definitely not PC. And you might be too young to look at the site.

That said, I (an over 18 adult woman) personally find the site to be pretty darn entertaining. Along with more mundane topics such as dating tips, you will also find columns such as “Secret CIA Magic Tricks,” “The Best Badasses in History,” “How to Pretend to Be a Rock Star,” “How to Start a Cult,” and “The Best Pointless Sites in the Universe.”

But back to my point, you will also find a column entitled the “5 Best Climbing Schools.” And I’m happy to report that NOLS is #1 on the list.

Now more dudes will show up to Day 1 of their course “fully equipped” with bowie knives and scorpion-eating skills. Awesome!

Let me leave you with this true fact: a NOLS student once ate a scorpion during his independent student travel because Bear Grylls did it on “Man vs. Wild.”
