NOLS Community Mourns Tucson Victims

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the families and friends of those whose lives were suddenly turned upside down on the morning of January 8, 2011 in Tucson.

The NOLS community is deeply saddened yet optimistic about the progress that is being made by Rep. Gabrielle Giffords since the morning of the attack. She and her husband, Mark, have strong ties to the school.

Rich Brame came to NOLS in the 80's as a Fall Semester in the Rockies student and worked his first NOLS course at Wind Cave National Park in 1984.
