Nick Braun

Nick was introduced to NOLS through a sailing course in Mexico. He has taught hiking, sea kayaking, and sailing courses since 2007 and Wilderness Medicine courses since 2016. He has been a member of the Alumni Department and Alumni Trips faculty since 2013. In addition to Mexico, his NOLS experiences have taken him to the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Australia, India, the Caribbean, Scandinavia, Europe, and Africa.

Sarah returned to NOLS in 2025, ten years after completing the Himalaya Mountaineering course based out of Ranikhet, India. She works in the Alumni Trips department where she connects with NOLS alumni who are just as excited about exploring new places as she is.
