Matt Kearns took an Outdoor Educator Semester in 2015. Since he got home from his course, Matt has been spending time with family, turkey hunting, and preparing for a big summer road trip to accomplish his goal of visiting all 50 states.

Nick was introduced to NOLS through a sailing course in Mexico. He has taught hiking, sea kayaking, and sailing courses since 2007 and Wilderness Medicine courses since 2016. Bella currently lives in Bellingham, Washington and is finishing her degree in Environmental Science from Western Washington University. In her free time, she enjoys trail running, bouldering, baking and yoga. She hopes to work in outdoor education after graduating.

Marc Randolph is an eight-time NOLS graduate and former NOLS instructor, and his three children have all taken at least one NOLS course. He co-founded Netflix in 1997, and continues to found startups, act as an advisor and mentor to entrepreneurs, and explore the backcountry in his spare time.

Day is a Naturalist, Outdoor Leader, and NOLS Wilderness First Responder graduate. She enjoys exploring the wilderness, botanizing, and wildlife photography. In the future, she hopes to expand her technical skills for more adventuring and become involved in Wyoming conservation efforts.

Jen is an adventurer who enjoys novelty and the sense of being part of something larger than herself. She often finds this experience in nature where she kayaks, hikes, bikes, and backpacks.
