Maddy is a senior at the University of Vermont. When she is not on a spontaneous road trip around the country, she can be found reading in the grass for her classes or hiking a mountain with her friends.

Hardin is an avid hiker, backpacker, and budding woodworker who is working toward a life where he can do more of those things and less sitting at a desk in an office.

Justin is an avid whitewater kayaker who enjoys rainy days on the river, quality green wave front surfs, and crisp eddy turns.

Jack Johnson is a current student at the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. He is a Wilderness First Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, and the President of the Hotchkiss Outing Club. Elizabeth is a facilitator of intercultural engagement, positive learning environments, and connected global citizenship. When she’s not planning her next adventure, she can be found reading in her hammock, throwing pottery, or trying to save her succulents from certain death. She loves nature, learning, and making people laugh.

Natasha Gold advocates for vulnerable, street-entrenched youth, connecting them to resources and supports through her work at an emergency youth shelter. She also likes to climb things, throw stones into the ocean, and read books in trees. She lives in British Columbia.

Erin took a NOLS semester for outdoor educators in the spring of 2017. Her passions are photography, soccer, rock climbing, and staying dirty in the outdoors . She is currently living the nomadic lifestyle with her Ford Flex, and works in wilderness therapy in the Utah desert.

Jonathan Brooks is a senior field instructor at NOLS with a storage unit in Lander, WY. He is currently exploring Canada.

Wolf, 17, lives in Lander, WY, where he is currently a junior in high school. Wolf’s passions are writing and performing music, poetry, storytelling, acting, traveling, photography and movies. He loves being outdoors, and spends a lot of his time with family and friends, hiking, backpacking, running and skiing.

Jenny Jenkins is a veterinarian and a recent NOLS Wilderness Medicine First Aid graduate. She is enjoying all that life has to offer on the Front Range with her husband Erik and their cat Angus.
