I was born in Murray, KY, grew up in Tallahassee, FL, and lived all over the Carolinas and in New Zealand. In 2014 I graduated from Clemson University with a Masters in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. When I am not teaching for NOLS Wilderness Medicine and Landmark Learning I like to spend my paddling, hang out with my son, or hanging out with my son while paddling. Now that I am finished with grad school I feel like I should take up a few new hobbies, or maybe just go back to school.
