Elliott Reed

Elliott was born and raised in the mid-west. At age 18, without ever previously visiting “the Treasure State” he enrolled in classes at the University of Montana and showed up for the first day of school. While earning a degree in Forestry and Wilderness Studies at the University of Montana, Elliott got his start in Outdoor Education, working for Missoula Outdoor Learning Adventure (MOLA). He has since worked for a plethora of outdoor programs including the US Forest Service, Wilderness Therapy, Reed College and as a field instructor for NOLS. Elliott began pursuing his passion for the medical field in 2008, earning a WEMT and has since worked as an Emergency Room Technician, a professional ski patroller at Mt. Hood and Mt. Bachelor and as a volunteer with Deschutes County Search and Rescue. Elliott resides in Bend, OR where he splits his time working for Timberline Mountain Guides, Crackerjack First Response Specialists and NOLS Wilderness Medicine. When not at work, he enjoys climbing, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
