Aaron began working in-town for NOLS in 1998 and started field instructing for the school in 2000. He primarily serves as a glacier mountaineering instructor during summers for NOLS Alaska. When not working for NOLS he is a faculty member at Northern Arizona University, in the Parks and Recreation Management program, specializing in topics of Recreation Program Planning as well as Outdoor Education and Leadership. Aaron enjoys drawing from varied experiences to enrich the scope of practical expeditionary and leadership applications for his students. In his free-time Aaron is often planning personal technical canyoneering and packrafting adventures with friends and family on the Colorado Plateau and beyond.
