Throughout the course, our experienced instructors will cover essential backcountry skills such as map reading, navigation, campsite selection, and wilderness first aid. They will also provide guidance on proper gear and equipment, including hiking boots, backpacks, and clothing suitable for various weather conditions.

In addition to hiking, fishing opportunities will also be available for those interested. Our instructors will guide smaller groups on these activities, allowing you to choose based on your energy levels and personal goals for the day.

Evenings at the lodge will be a time for camaraderie and reflection. You’ll have the chance to share your daily adventures with fellow participants, creating memories and lasting connections. The cozy living room will serve as the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day in the wilderness.

By the end of this course, you’ll have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to travel comfortably in the backcountry. Whether you continue to explore the wilderness on your own or join future outdoor expeditions, you’ll be well-equipped to navigate and enjoy the beauty of nature.
