Curious about backcountry skiing or splitboarding and want to learn alongside other women? Spend a day in the Tetons with a supportive community of like-minded ladies on this one-day intro course. Whether you’re a skier looking to ditch the lift lines or a snowboarder interested in trying a splitboard, you’ll get an overview of backcountry travel in one of the best ski locations in the world.
You’ll start with an evening orientation at NOLS Teton Valley in Driggs– route planning, gear checks, questions answered. Don’t have touring gear? Rent everything through NOLS!
The next morning, you’ll head into the mountains with female instructors who’ll show you how to skin uphill, navigate winter terrain, and make decisions as a group in the backcountry.
