The Hill Has Ears

A.K.A. The Central Wyoming Listening Session for America’s Great Outdoors Initiative

On the heels of NOLS Executive Director John Gans’ springtime visit to the White House Conference on America’s Great Outdoors in Washington, DC, comes a public forum on the same theme right in Lander, WY.

AgoTonight, NOLS, the Outdoor Industry Association, Trout Unlimited, Teton Science Schools, Central Wyoming College, and Wyoming State Parks are hosting the Central Wyoming Forum on America’s Great Outdoors. We will be asking participants key questions posed by the White House on reconnecting people with the outdoors, and on restoring and conserving our open spaces. Responses will be compiled into a report destined for the President’s desk.

Already the America’s Great Outdoors Initiative has produced listening sessions attended by hundreds of people in cities and towns across the country. At the same time, the online community is buzzing with ideas and contributing to the Initiative’s idea space.

To find a listening session near you or to submit your ideas online, visit the America’s Great Outdoors website.
