TGIF!

Friday is upon us once again, and as the day begins the folks here at NOLS Rocky Mountain eagerly sip their warm drinks on this chilly day in anticipation of what the weekend may hold. For the past two days here in Lander the snow has been gently blanketing the ground turning our quiet town into a white wonderland. The warm days of weeks past have vanished, and thoughts of skiing and winter camping are back on the minds of many.

NOLS Rocky Mountain is starting to bustle again with the return of instructors to teach the upcoming Spring Semesters. As they brief on important events to come, gear is being pulled and activity is in the air. By Sunday town will see the arrival of more students and the Noble Hotel will once again fill up.

As we roll into next week we’ll see the issuing of gear and rations to Spring Semester in the Rockies students as they prepare and pack up to head into the woods and onto their first sections of their 3 months on course. Also next week here at NOLS is Leadership Week! Leadership Week is a great opportunity to inspire others and share your enthusiasm and energy with those around you.
