SSW2 Moves on to Caving
March 8, 2006
The SSW2 spent a day at the branch as they got ready for the caving section of their semester. They all had great things to say about their time in the Kofa NWR.
“To polish off a full day of hiking, my tent-mates and I cooked up an interesting desert of Brownie/Hot-Chocolate mix to prime ourselves for tomorrows journey deeper into the Kofa”
-Dave Sumner
“As we’ve slowly been immersing ourselves into the desert of the Southwest, we’ve all been shocked and awe struck at the powerful sunrises and sunsets, dusty realm of the desert terrain and glowing radiance of the moon and stars.”
-Emily Shanblatt
