So long, Lander!
Well, what can we say? It’s been a hoot, Lander. Now, with somewhat heavy hearts, we must say farewell to NOLS Rocky Mountain (for now, at least) and a stellar internship.
Yes, the Sisterhood is disbanding and, while the windpants won’t go with us, we do have grand adventures in store. Adrienne is headed home to New Jersey for a day and then back to Yale for another semester. First, though, she gets to kick off her school year by leading a backpacking trip for freshmen in the White Mountains. I’ll be back in Colorado for three weeks and then, in true Sisterhood of the Traveling Windpants form, I’ll head to Paros, Greece for a semester abroad.
We know you’ll all miss us desperately, so here are a few things to remember us by:
– The Noble Kitchen Key (visit the Noble to find out what this means.)
– The RM Garden We have a garden? YES we have a garden! Take a stroll around the corner from Lincoln to 5th Street and keep an eye out for the soon-to-bloom sunflowers.
– That one super random ice cream social we hosted. (There are leftovers in “the midget” in the Gulch. Just sayin’.)
– Brand spankin’ new recycling signs. Got a cereal box? Recycle it! Pressboard recycling for the win.
– The best blogs EVER. Scroll down to those guys. You want to reread them…
Thanks for all of it, NOLS. We really did have a great time and we hope to see you again soon. This is Adrienne and Kate, Team Lady Intern if you’d like, signing off.
