Headin’ Home!

As I write this, I’m in the air heading back to Wyoming. Saturday’s board meeting went very well. Among the topics discussed was growth, particularly of NOLS Professional Training, the portion of the school that provides custom courses and consulting.

We also discussed future international expansion. Good conversation.

The International Base Camp Initiative was an important topic as the school decides when to start in on the renovation of the historic Noble Hotel, NOLS’ dormitory. Some parameters were established about how this decision will be made.

Today I headed up to Manchester, Vermont to meet with folks at Orvis. Orvis provides NOLS with fishing gear and is featuring their relationship with NOLS in their Spring Fly Fishing catalog. We had a great conversation. Good folks and great products.

Tomorrow I’ll be back in the office. There’s certain to be a lot to catch up on.

Battery on the computer is on reserve. Gotta go!

I’ll try to post this from Denver International Airport (DIA)

Later,
