Aarohi Seth

My introduction to the outdoors began with a boot camp–style mountaineering course in the Indian Himalayas, which eventually led me to NOLS. Since becoming a NOLS instructor in 2021, I’ve been drawn to big mountain environments—both professionally and on personal trips. Since first stepping into the outdoors, I’ve spent nearly all my time building competence in rock, ice, and glacial terrain, with water ice climbing becoming my main sport over the years. My experience with NOLS has given me a strong foundation in risk management, thriving on extended expeditions, and making tough decisions in remote, high-stakes environments.
