Preparing Your Team To Lead

NOLS is the global leader in wilderness and leadership education and leverages the unpredictability of the wild to help your group succeed in a complex, modern world.

In the Wild

Dropping a slot canyon becomes an exercise in teamwork. A river crossing teaches risk assessment, planning, and communication. On a custom expedition, your team will face real challenges together and develop the confidence, resilience, and teamwork needed to accomplish your goals.

Course Outcomes
NOLS expeditions are designed to teach skills that help you:

  • Lead with confidence and competence
  • Act in the face of adversity and uncertainty
  • Understand your strengths, habits, and areas for growth
  • Communicate effectively in a team environment
