Malin Thomasson

Malin has been guiding in the outdoors since 2006 and she is a Swedish mountain leader. Now she is studying to become a nurse and take great interest in the wilderness medicine. Since 2014 she is a NOLS Wilderness Medicine Instructor. Her goal is to combine professional nursing with teaching wilderness medicine and guiding in the outdoors. She runs her own company, Frostviken Outdoor, and teach NOLS Wilderness Medicine courses mainly in Scandinavia and Europe operated by NOLS Wilderness Medicine instructor Lena Conlan, Crossing Latitudes. Being outdoors is an essential part of Malin’s life and she guides paddling, tour skiing, randonée, snowmobile, caving, tour riding etc. Malin lives in Sweden and calls Stora Blåsjön (the Great Blue Lake) her home. It is a village surrounded by mountains and lakes, in the northern corner of Jämtland, close to the border of Norway. Here she lives with her husband, a daughter and a son.
