A New York native, Kyle began his outdoor forays hiking around the Hudson River Valley and climbing in the renowned Gunks. During his time at the University of Vermont, Kyle immersed himself in all the wonders the Green Mountains has to offer leading rock and ice climbing trips for the UVM Outing Club. After taking his first wilderness medicine course his sophomore year of college, Kyle became hooked, eventually taking his EMT course and helping TA several WFR semesters for UVM. NOLS Wilderness Medicine was the perfect fit for him to help outdoor enthusiasts gain the training they need. When he's not helping students in NOLS Wilderness Medicine, you can typically find Kyle somewhere in the mountains, arguing that there is in fact, good skiing in the northeast.
