Kat Bruck

Kat is a NOLS alum, archaeologist, returned Peace Corps volunteer, and sea turtle enthusiast. Growing up in Chicago, she always imagined a life of adventure where she went beyond what was expected of her. From a young age, after watching the cult classic Deep Blue Sea, she aspired to have a career as a Shark Wrangler but ultimately decided that Explorer/Treasure Hunter was a more practical career path. Her studies in Archaeology, Museum Studies and History at Montana State University and her advanced scuba certifications reflect her passion for exploring the unknown. When she is not fantasizing about the world’s next great discovery, she enjoys the simpler things in life such as brewing kombucha or reading books her Kindle recommends for her.
