Jo Rolls is a Wilderness EMT and Physician Assistant. Her background includes coaching and teaching snowboarding, guiding mountaineering and climbing, working in emergency and family medicine and she spent 10 years as a member of Routt County Search and Rescue. Jo, her husband, and their little human, Evelyn, live in Salt Lake City Utah where she is currently a Family Medicine Physician Assistant and Assistant Professor at the University of Utah Division of Physician Assistant Studies. She has a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and is also pursuing a Master’s in Education for Health Professionals. Jo works with a diverse patient population including folks without access to healthcare, refugees, and LGBTQI persons. She loves teaching in every aspect of her life and loves helping patients by helping providers expand their knowledge. When she is not working, Jo takes Evelyn on baby adventures, mountain bikes, hikes, cooks yummy food, drinks delicious wine and reads.
