Jake Schepps

Jake has taught for NOLS Wilderness Medicine since 2001, and has had the fortunate opportunity to teach wilderness medicine around the world, from Thailand to New Zealand to Lander, Wyoming. He is a senior lead instructor for WFR's and WFA's, and has taught several Instructor Training Courses. Jake additionally spent five years leading NOLS field courses around the Intermountain West, deep in the canyons, floating down rivers and charging up mountains. Jake lives in Boulder, Colorado with his lovely wife and two beautiful daughters. In addition to teaching for NOLS, Jake is a professional 5-string banjo player, writing, recording and performing adventurous string band music, and his music can be heard at www.jakeschepps.com.
