Welcome to NOLS Teton Valley

The mountains and rivers of the West are calling you. At NOLS Teton Valley, you’ll find a rich landscape of granite cliffs, rushing whitewater, and some of the United States' best snow, places where you can push yourself and expand your leadership skills. You might explore mountains that get 500 inches of snow in a year as you learn to ski or snowboard; you might head to the hills to backpack and explore wildflower-filled valleys and pine forests; or you might test yourself on the rapids and swells of the Main Salmon River. You're going to learn about the area's natural and human history, and you'll see that history come to life as you travel this landscape. Winter courses and courses for 14- and 15-year-olds are our specialty, but anyone can find challenges and excitement here. Discover with NOLS the rugged and intriguing mountains of the Old West—the vast backcountry of Idaho, Montana, and western Wyoming—as you explore your leadership style.
