On this course, you'll get a variety of skills—education, backpacking, mountaineering, and rock climbing—and experience a variety of terrain, from forests to glaciers to alpine rock.

Your course begins with a multi-day leadership and facilitation seminar. This portion of the course will cover facilitation and debriefing techniques, creating an inclusive and positive learning environment, honing your individual leadership style, and learning effective teaching techniques. After that, you'll head into the mountains. As you hone your climbing skills, you will explore the spectacular terrain in world-class settings in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada and the North Cascade mountain range.

If you’re seeking to develop the abilities and experience to pursue a career in outdoor education, then this is the course for you.
