Sea Kayaking in the Bahamas - Alumni

As we move into a long winter stateside, are you ready to venture to some of the most beautiful and inaccessible beaches on the magnificent islands of the Bahamas?

The limestone and white sand beach coastline throughout the Bahamas is pristine, remote and often uninhabited. It is the perfect place to explore by kayak! Myriad islands, channel crossings, and protected bays allow for a great paddling experience!

Many of the plant and animal species found here are unique. The islands are lush and thickly vegetated while the sea is rich with marine life and coral reefs.  Sea birds, iguanas, reef fish and manta rays are among the beautiful creatures that you may encounter here!

You will learn paddle strokes, navigation, rescue techniques, and more. There will be opportunities for walks on the beach, snorkeling, and just enjoying the Bahamas! This trip is suitable for all levels of paddlers.

Activity Rating*:

*Camping on beaches is scenic, but paddling means plenty of sun and possible wind.
