JOB TITLE: Field Staffing Travel Logistics Coordinator
REPORTS TO: NOLS Field Staffing Director
JOB OBJECTIVE: The Field Staffing Office (FSO) Travel Logistics Coordinator works as the main logistical support to all field faculty. The Logistics Coordinator is an integral member of the FSO Team and ensures a smooth experience from home to course and back for field faculty.
QUALIFICATIONS:The ability to develop a firm understanding of the FSO mission, organizational system, and instructor policies. The Travel Logistics Coordinator must possess the ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and prioritize complex variables. Strong communication, planning, and logistical skills are essential. Required skills include computer literacy, database use, email capabilities, and experience booking travel online. Preferred skills include NOLS expedition course experience.
LEADERSHIP OR SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Works closely with the FSO Staffing Manager and Staffing Coordinators. Networks internally with all FSO staff, and attends daily team meetings. Communicates regularly with NOLS field faculty and coordinates their travel to and from courses. Functions as an integral member of the FSO Team.
FUNDS AND/OR PROPERTY: Supervises the NOLS expedition travel budget of $780,000+ annually.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports NOLS field faculty with course travel and logistics. Attends daily team meetings to understand instructor travel needs and works to arrange flight itineraries and ground transportation as needed.
Assists the Staffing Manager and Staffing Coordinators with the implementation of the staffing plan.
Supports the implementation of Certify for field faculty and improves travel systems.
Works with Staffing Coordinators to process payroll for field faculty as needed.
Other duties to support Field Faculty (such as process travel reimbursements).
Other duties to support FSO office function.

WORK LOCATION CONDITIONS: Lander, WY or remote in states that NOLS can support employees: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Washington. If remote, there could be some travel at times.
The starting pay range for this position is $17.00 per hour. Other benefits include: 403 B, 403 B contribution after one year, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending account, Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Time off.
