JOB TITLE: Expedition Registrar and Enrollment Support Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Senior Expedition Admission Officer
JOB OBJECTIVE: The Expedition Registrar and Enrollment Support Supervisor will coordinate expedition student enrollment and communications related to academic credit, distribute and upload of mailed and faxed documents, and manage student files.
The Expedition Registrar and Enrollment Support Supervisor is an essential part of the Expedition Admissions team to ensure effective and efficient processes in academic credit enrollment and Admissions mailings to students.
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Be able to present a positive and helpful attitude to inquiries, whether in person, over the phone, or electronically. Capable of explaining course information, travel logistics, and equipment lists.
LEADERSHIP OR SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Direct supervision of the Enrollment Support Assistant. This person must also work cooperatively with Expedition Admissions, Marketing and Creative staff, as well as consulting with other departments and branches.
FUNDS AND/OR PROPERTY: Responsible for accurately communicating financial status of a student's account and of the transfer and cancellation policies.
50%. Manage student registration for the University of Utah and high school credit. Communicate with locations regarding course roster academic credit grade-sheets to ensure that students are accurately enrolled for academic credit. Track timely receipt of evaluations and grades upon course completion.Work with the University Relations Coordinator to manage academic credit reporting to university and high school credit partner institutions.
30% Oversee and perform clerical aspects of the Expedition Admission Office student documents. Supervise one Enrollment Support Assistant in these duties.
10% Work with Expedition Admissions Officers to manage department peak needs. Contact students via phone or email for application follow up and registration forms.
10% Other duties as needed, including supporting the Expedition Admissions Office phone queue.
