The Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (Hybrid EMT plus WUMP format) is a combination of a multi-week urban EMT intensive program, combining online self-study and instructor-led forums with in-person skills training and field experiences, followed by a five-day Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals (WUMP) course. You may participate in one or both sections of the program. Learn from the best instructors, with the EMT intensive taught by instructors from Landmark Learning and North Carolina EMS, and the Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals course taught by NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
