JOB TITLE: Web Content Administrator
REPORTS TO: Creative Director
JOB OBJECTIVE: The Web Content Administrator is responsible for maintaining content on the website and overseeing content modifications made by other departments. The Web Content Administrator assists in overseeing outsourced projects to ensure they align with NOLS values and needs. The Web Content Administrator is an integral part of the NOLS creative team. This position's main over-arching goal is to provide the best web experience possible for our visitors.
JOB LOCATION: NOLS Headquarters, Lander, Wyoming
LEADERSHIP OR SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Responsible for training designated employees in Adobe Contribute and/or other content management systems. Thinks strategically about ways to leverage the NOLS website and provides ideas and suggestions for all NOLS departments. This position fills a leadership role within the creative department and is responsible for supervising the Social Media Coordinator and Web Intern.
Funds and/or Property: Manages a $60,000 budget for professional services for the website.
- 45% Day to day site maintenance and modification of content
- 25% Creative vision and other web-based projects to maximize NOLS' web presence
- 15% Coordinate and manage the content delivered through NOLS email lists
- 15% Train designated employees how to utilize Adobe Contribute to make updates to the web site and coordinate content creation and web contributions
