This presentation will use an in-depth case study (developed through incident reports, news accounts, and interviews) to help participants understand how case studies can be used to improve risk management planning and safety education. Through small group discussions, assignments, and guided review, the case studies will also help audience members recognize and apply the following concepts:

* have a better understanding of how/where to find useful case studies
* have a better understanding of how to present case studies in a non-judgmental manner
* have reviewed four different methods for presenting case studies
* learn how to modify guided case study reviews so that participants can apply the learning
