ouglas E. Caum is currently the assistant director for National High School programs with the Student Conservation Association. He holds a B.A. in Recreation from the University of Richmond (1992), an M.A. in Environmental Education from the University of New Mexico (1996) and a Graduate Certificate in Regionalism and Historic Preservation from UNM (2005). Doug is a NOLS field instructor as well as a course instructor for the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS. He spent 9 years teaching and directing the experiential education program at Albuquerque Academy in New Mexico. Prior to that, he spent four years leading seasonal trips for various western outdoor programs. Doug also acts as a site reviewer for the Association of Experiential Education's Accreditation Program. |
