Committee Members and Co-Sponsors

NOLS Professional Training is the primary convener of the Wilderness Risk Management Conference. In turn, the Conference is influenced and supported by two groups of people, the Conference Co-Sponsors and the annual Conference Steering Committee. The Co-sponsors help to develop the conference infrastructure including choice of: Dates, location, marketing, keynote speakers, and the conference strategic plan. The Steering Committee is responsible for the selection of speakers and development of the agenda. Both groups work with NOLS Professional Training as the conference convener.
