Wilderness EMT "3+1 Format"
The WEMT "3 + 1 Format" is a combination of a three-week urban EMT intensive program followed by a 5-day Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals (WUMP) course. Students may participate in one or both sections of the program. The EMT intensive is taught by instructors from Landmark Learning and North Carolina EMS, the Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals course is taught by WMI of NOLS.
