This intensive option integrates an urban EMT-Basic course and a Wilderness Upgrade for Medical Professionals course into a single month-long program. More information
There is a list of prerequisites in the Course Description posted above. It is critical that you submit copies of these documents to the WMI office prior to the start of your course. If we do not have your complete and accurate documentation as outlined in the Course Description by the first day of the course you will be unable to attend the required course clinical rotations. This will make you ineligible for EMT certification with no refunds or transfers of course tuition and associated costs.

WEMT - Approved for up to 59.5 (27 core + 32.5 elective) hours of credit towards a Fellowship of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM) for a $15.00 fee.
