Course Dates and Group Size

Course dates and group size may affect the possibility of designing a course in a specific location or around a specific skill. For example, Alaska hiking courses only run in the summer months with an optimum group size of 9 to 12 people. If you know your course dates and/or desired group size, contact our program coordinators to discuss options.

Location

We can bring our expert educators to you, or you can join us in one of our wilderness classrooms all over the world. Though not limited to, NOLS Professional Training operates most economically near the following NOLS locations:

Activity or Learning Objective

Each location offers unique opportunities to learn various technical outdoor skills, from backpacking and mountaineering to sea kayaking and sailing.

Regardless of the course location or skill learned, your NOLS course will foster leadership development among participants. NOLS Professional Training provides custom courses ranging from 1-day on-site Leadership Trainings to 30-day Wilderness Expeditions.
