The Entrepreneurs' Organization River Expedition (EORE) will develop leadership and teamwork skills through a comprehensive theoretical component enhanced by actual leadership experiences in a non-traditional setting. This expedition provides invaluable opportunities to see yourself in a dynamic wilderness setting, and to enhance not only your outdoor skills, but also your approach to leadership in new and challenging circumstances.
Your expedition will raft down the Main Salmon River, which is famous for being one of the longest free flowing rivers (425 miles) in the Lower 48. It flows through the heart of the largest wilderness area (2.3 million acres), the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. As you travel, you will learn how to recognize river hazards and obstacles, identify good lines through the rapids, and negotiate the rafts successfully down the river.
Successful expeditions require the same essential skills found in the professional world—effective communication, problem-solving, positive influence, and strategically delivering results. Return to your organization holding practical and transferable strategies with greater leadership effectiveness.
